Luke McNickle

Luke McNickle is a clinical research fellow within the school of Cancer Sciences. He is a higher specialty surgical trainee in General Surgery in the West of Scotland having completed medical school and foundation training in London. He is working towards a PhD under the supervision of Professor Nigel Jamieson.

He has previous research experience working in a lab in Nanomedicine during his undergraduate medical studies and has been involved in informal research projects throughout his medical training resulting in some publications and presentations.

His research interests multi-omic phenotyping of colorectal liver metastasis, pancreatic cancer and cholangiocarcinoma. He is interested in understanding the technology allowing this cutting edge research into spatial omics.
